Tile Details Window

This allows you to edit the Areas and Paths of the selected tile.

Areas

Here is a list with all the Areas contained in the selected tile. By double clicking an entry or selecting it and pressing Edit you'll get a window with the details of the Area. By selecting an entry and pressing Delete you delete the selected entry.

The other options are:

  • Show Areas: Select it if you want the Areas to be visible on the Tile image above.
  • Filled Areas: Select it if you want the areas to be filled.
  • Left Colored Button: Press it to select the color that the Areas will be drawn on the Tile image above.
  • Right Colored Button: Press it to select the color that the currently selected Area in the Areas List, will be drawn on the Tile image above.

Paths

Here is a list with all the Paths contained in the selected tile. By double clicking an entry or selecting it and pressing Edit you'll get a window with the details of the Path. By selecting an entry and pressing Delete you delete the selected entry.

The other options are:

  • Show Paths: Select it if you want the Paths to be visible on the Tile image above.
  • Left Colored Button: Press it to select the color that the Paths will be drawn on the Tile image above.
  • Right Colored Button: Press it to select the color that the currently selected Path in the Paths List, will be drawn on the Tile image above.

Actions

Here you can add an Area or a Path, by selecting first the Area or Path type you want to add and press the corresponding button. After that the mouse cursor will change shape wile hovering over the Tile image, and you can click and drag to draw the Area or Path you want.

TipThere is a keyboard shortcut for adding Areas or Paths more easily. Just make sure that you have the desired Area or Path type selected in the dropdown lists and press and hold Control for an Area or Shift for a Path, and start drawing.

You can see the X and Y coordinates of the mouse while you move it above the Tile image (in feet) and you can scale the image up or down by pressing the + and - buttons. Next to them you can see the current zoom factor.

TipYou can zoom the image from the keyboard as well. Use + or = keys for zooming in and - (either from keypad or not) for zooming out.
